Global NC

Global NC connects North Carolina and the world. It was founded in 1979 by Governor James B. Hunt Jr. to promote citizen diplomacy by helping North Carolinians better understand global affairs. Originally known as the Center for International Understanding, later Go Global NC and today Global NC, the organization has evolved into a nonpartisan leader in global education and engagement. Global NC helps leaders in business, education, policy and more, bridging education, public policy, business and international engagement, advancing its vision of making North Carolina the most globally engaged state in the nation.
