These versatile compounds can treat both front-of-the-eye diseases, such as uveitis and dry eye as well as back-of-the-eye diseases such as wet or dry macular degeneration or diabetic retinopathy. Eclipse is planning to advance candidate drugs to treat both types of diseases.
