Women in Bio – RTP 2020 Kickoff
Join Women in Bio at RTP for their 2020 Kickoff event! This is a great event for current Women and Bio members and for people interested in learning more about the organization. This event is FREE for both members and non-members. Come learn about the benefits of Women In Bio membership, the 2020 lineup of programming events, and the importance of personal branding. Your personal brand is the core of who you are, not unlike your company’s brand or core values. Your brand is your reputation. It is what you project to others. People’s opinions and expectations of you will be defined by what kind of person they believe you to be. YOU determine your own unique brand – instead of letting others build it for you. Paula and Lisa share practical steps for discovering and then confidently sharing your unique brand. When your brand and career goals align, they can take you to new heights.
The event will center around an interactive discussion followed by questions from the audience. Food will be provided.
Speaker Bios
A dynamic leader, seasoned entrepreneur, author, and speaker, Lisa T. Grimes has spent more than 32 years in a variety of executive management, sales, and business development roles. She is currently Managing Director of Habergeon and President and CEO of PurThread, a North Carolina-based antimicrobial textile company.
With more than 30 years of experience in biopharmaceutical services and consulting, Paula Brown Stafford helped build the contract research organization (CRO) industry and the preeminent CRO in the industry, Quintiles. Her career at Quintiles culminated in serving for five years as president of clinical development, Quintiles largest business segment. She is currently managing director of Habergeon and chief development officer of Novan, a North Carolina-based pharmaceutical company.
