RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. [April 15, 2024] More than 500 professionals are attending the inaugural RTP Career Fair on Wednesday, April 24, to explore job opportunities in one of the fastest growing research parks in North America.

At the event, 27 companies across a variety of industries will be actively recruiting local, diverse talent – from recent graduates aiming to launch their careers to early- and mid-career professionals looking to make a change or explore a new industry. Participating companies include multinational corporations and startups in the technology, biotech, fintech, marketing, nonprofit and cybersecurity industries.

“This career fair is the first-of-its-kind in Research Triangle Park (RTP) and showcases the incredible diversity of businesses that are establishing roots or expanding their presence within the Park,” said Kelly Propst, vice president of marketing and communications for RTP. “Research Triangle Foundation (RTF), the host of the event and stewards of RTP, organized the job fair to not only help participating companies attract diverse, local talent but retain that talent within the region.”

Leading up to the event, RTP offered a series of events with complementary services for job seekers, including interview preparation, professional headshots and resume workshops.

Advanced registration for the RTP Career Fair is required, and time slots are filling quickly with select afternoon sessions remaining. To review candidate prep events, explore participating companies and register to attend, visit www.rtp.org/career-fair
