The Research Triangle Foundation (RTF) has retained Elinvar in its search for a Vice President of Strategic Engagement. As stewards of Research Triangle Park, the Foundation leads the Triangle in creating a thriving business environment, promoting economic development, and facilitating strategic partnerships that benefit the region and state.
RTP has historically been home to scientific research companies. As it evolves to include Hub RTP, a 100-acre mixed-use district featuring residential, retail, office, hotel and community amenities, the Foundation seeks a VP of Strategic Engagement to help strategically position and strengthen RTP relationships, especially with local universities, Park companies, community partners, local government, and other stakeholders.
Through its commitment to fostering connections, environmental stewardship, innovation and collaboration, and diversity and inclusion, the Foundation invests in programs that cultivate vibrant communities within RTP and beyond. The VP of Strategic Engagement will be responsible for administering and expanding existing programs and partnerships to new levels at a pivotal time in the Foundation’s history. The VP will also need to evaluate new and evolving partnership opportunities and make recommendations that will further the Foundation’s mission.
The VP of Strategic Engagement will also represent RTF on committees and working groups in the focus areas of mobility, diversity and inclusion, and workforce development, working closely with the Foundation’s leadership team and planning department, and help strategically position RTP in collaboration with the marketing department.
A dynamic leader with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, communicate with confidence, and lead with the highest ethics and respect will be most successful in this role. To express interest in this position please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and applications will be kept confidential.
