Matthew Sniff is the founder of startup Map My Customers, and recently penned an article about his decision to move his company from Silicon Valley to the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina. Aside from the usual tropes about quality of life and talent, Sniff noted that access to venture capital and free workspaces – like RTP’s The Frontier – also factored into the decision. After checking out many cities across the U.S., Sniff ultimately decided to sign a lease in North Carolina because “there’s an energy buzzing around.”
