Carolyn Coia joined the Research Triangle Foundation in March of 2016. Her responsibilities include supporting all of the Foundation’s strategic financial planning and assisting the accounting team in building complex financial models, long range capital budgets, as well as cash flow and cost analyses. She also assists on an ad hoc basis to outside departments.
Carolyn relocated from Pennsylvania after graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Finance. Prior to joining the Foundation, she worked for a group of companies owned by private equity, where she was heavily involved in acquisition pro forma work, budgeting/forecasting and ad hoc financial modeling. In her personal time, she enjoys shopping, cooking and taking her lab to the dog park.
