Cary Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Meeting

Join the Cary Chamber of Commerce and the Research Triangle Foundation of North Carolina for an exclusive presentation on Research Triangle Park’s past, present, and future (RTP).

For 65 years, RTP has been a cornerstone of innovation, fostering collaboration among industries, academia, and the workforce. As the Foundation prepares for the next 50 years, an ambitious vision is underway to help companies reimagine the Park’s campuses, enhance research and development efforts, and meet new workforce demands while solving regional growth challenges.

The Foundation’s Executive Vice President and COO, Andrew Holton, and Planner Anne Calef, AICP, will share an overview of RTP’s transformation–from its foundation of corporate R&D campuses, to the expanding $1.5 billion Hub RTP downtown district, to the RTP 3.0 initiative that envisions the Park’s future. Attendees will learn more about plans to introduce new place types to support enhanced corporate campuses, residential neighborhoods, mixed-use density nodes, and key developments on the horizon, such as the Triangle Mobility Hub.

This event is an opportunity to understand RTP’s origins, how the Foundation works with Park companies, local officials, and community partners to advance its mission, and why RTP remains central to North Carolina’s innovation economy.

Register for this event through the Cary Chamber of Commerce website.
