Leah Murphy joined the Research Triangle Foundation of NC in February 2026 as an Event & Office Coordinator. In this role, Leah is responsible for supporting daily office operations and
coordinating events that bring together tenants, partners and the broader RTP community. She oversees planning and execution of internal and public-facing programs across the campus, ensuring smooth logistics and memorable experiences that support the Foundation’s mission and initiatives across its properties.
Before joining the Foundation, Leah worked at Epic Games, where she supported philanthropic initiatives and event coordination to amplify employee engagement. During this time, she played a key role in planning and executing large-scale employee events, including a major Crab Fest at Boxyard that welcomed hundreds of employees and showcased strong cross-team collaboration and event execution.
Leah brings a strong background in operations and hospitality, with a passion for creating organized, welcoming spaces and engaging events that foster community. She is known for her positive energy and ability to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
She currently lives in Raleigh, North Carolina and enjoys staying active through fitness, exploring local events, finding new hiking trails to tackle with her dogs and spending time with her loved ones.
