RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. (March 2, 2026) — Genesys®, a global cloud leader in AI-Powered Experience Orchestration, is the first office tenant to move into the new Horseshoe at Hub RTP. The company has relocated its Durham office this month, occupying 26,393 square feet within Hub RTP, Research Triangle Park (RTP)’s vibrant downtown district.

Horseshoe and Genesys previously announced the lease in 2025 and Genesys is now completing the transition into its newly constructed, fifth-floor office space, marking a significant milestone in Horseshoe’s continued leasing momentum and growth as a business destination within Hub RTP.

“Genesys was our first office tenant to commit to Horseshoe, and we’re proud to now welcome their team into the building,” said Erik Johnson, founding partner of White Point, developer of Horseshoe at Hub RTP. “Their move reflects both the strength of the RTP office market and the demand we’re seeing for high-quality, amenity-rich, sustainably built workplaces in mixed-use environments.”

“We chose Horseshoe because it offers more than just office space — it supports the kind of collaborative and connected environment where our teams can innovate,” said John Clark, vice president and site leader at Genesys. “Experience orchestration is rooted in continuous innovation, and having a workplace that enables flexibility, wellness and creativity helps our teams design and deliver better experiences for our customers every day.”

The sustainability and environmental design of Horseshoe played a meaningful role in the company’s decision to relocate. The building is certified under LEED v4 —one of the industry’s most rigorous standards for high-performance, energy-efficient buildings—and is outfitted with low-flow and energy-efficient plumbing, a $3.5 million greywater reuse system for irrigation and other non-potable uses. The site features 16 acres of parks, trails and gathering spaces for employees and visitors, including Burdens Creek, which the Research Triangle Foundation invested $10 million into to reduce runoff, protect regional watersheds and connect with more than 20 miles of recreational trails across the Park and neighboring communities.

“Horseshoe was designed to bring together sustainable, best-in-class office space with restaurants, retail and outdoor amenities that support how people work today — and support our environment. With a focus on technology and innovation, Genesys is a great fit for that vision,” said Carolyn Coia, vice president of real estate at Research Triangle Foundation of North Carolina. “We are thrilled for the Genesys team to become a part of the evolving Hub RTP community.”

The Genesys team will be steps away from Horseshoe’s growing lineup of food, beverage and retail offerings, including Cheeni and Nanny Goat boutique bodega by three-time James Beard semifinalist Preeti Waas, DRIFT Coffee & Kitchen and Prime STQ by James Beard semifinalist and Michelin Bib Gourmand recipient Christopher Prieto.

Celebrating many working styles, the Genesys office includes enclosed offices and open desking, focus and team rooms, collaborative areas and conference rooms, as well as a video production suite, café and multiple lounge spaces. The office also provides access to a portion of Horseshoe’s outdoor terrace. Genesys plans to submit the project for LEED Interiors certification, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable design and responsible workplace development. IA Interior Architects designed the workplace; furnishings were provided by PMC and Raleigh Reclaimedand Choate Construction completed the interior buildout. Kathryn Lawn, Deb Boucher, Mark Schumacher and John Boyle of Cushman & Wakefield represented Genesys, while Patti Autry and Hillman Duncan of JLL represented Horseshoe on the lease.

Located at 3151 Elion Dr., Horseshoe has 78,000 square feet of Class A office space and 10,000 square feet of retail space that remains available for lease. For more information about Horseshoe, visit horseshoeatthehub.com and follow @horseshoertp on Instagram.
