About The AKD Conference Center
At the heart of RTP Headquarters is the Archie K. Davis Conference Center, a 6,800-square-foot state-of-the-art facility set on 18 wooded acres, complete with an outdoor courtyard.
Our Conference Center regularly plays host to leading global organizations that are either located in, or have ties to RTP, the universities, or our other partners in the region. Whether you are planning a formal business gathering or more casual networking event, our on-site conference planners can customize the spaces to create an engaging event.
Meeting rooms range in size from 2,065 square feet to 934 square feet for smaller gatherings. For larger events, an additional 1,135 square feet of reception space can accommodate food and beverage service for up to 300 people. RTP conference planners and staff are also on hand to meet your needs to create a professional and effective event.
