Young Women in Bio Visits the NC Botanical Garden

For more than 40 years the North Carolina Botanical Garden has been a leader in native plant conservation and education in the southeastern United States. Their mission is to inspire understanding, appreciation, and conservation of plants and to advance a sustainable relationship between people and nature. Students will learn about plants and conservation from the amazing scientists and staff who work at the garden. The event will conclude with hands-on activities and a scavenger hunt through the gardens and nature trails! Girls in 6th - 8th grade are welcome to attend this free event.
