RTP180 | Weather & Climate

THE FRONTIER | 800 PARK OFFICES DRIVE, RTP Jun 21 5:00 pm - Jun 21 7:30 pm

Some say that we are spoiled by the mild climate North Carolina has to offer ... or wait, are we actually spoiled by the mild weather?

Weather (n) | The state of the atmosphere at a place and time as regards heat, dryness, sunshine, win rain, etc.
Climate (n) | The composite or generally prevailing weather conditions of a region as temperature, air pressure, humidity, precipitation, sunshine, cloudiness, and winds, through the year, averaged over a series of years.

Join us in June to hear from Triangle experts on special topics and research pertaining to both weather AND climate. We will learn about the atmosphere environment of our region, and (hopefully) be able to accurately differentiate between weather and climate by the end of the program.
