RTP180 | Opioids
February's RTP180 Topic | Opioids
It has been described as a nation-wide epidemic, a crisis, and something we have gone to war over. Opioid related deaths have risen over 800% in North Carolina since 1999. This is an issue many Americans are dealing with, and it is something affecting our backyard. Join us on February 15 to hear from four experts from around The Triangle on the research being done surrounding opioids, stigmas attached to the drugs, and strategies to combat this epidemic.
Speakers
Dr. Lauren McCormack | RTI
Scott Luetgenau | Southlight Healthcare
Dr. Nabarun Dasgupta | University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Mike Bajorek | Town of Cary
In lieu of Q&A at the end of each speaker's presentation, we will hold a quick panel with our 4 experts at the end of the program. Have a question you want asked? Email [email protected] or tweet using #RTP180.
