October's Topic - Debate
Tis the season - for elections! Since we're all probably over hearing politicians bicker back and forth, we decided to put a fun spin on the traditional debate format for October's RTP 180. Come out to hear your most pressing concerns discussed between some of the Triangle's foremost subject matter experts. You can expect a quick back and forth on the following topics:
Food Supply: GMO vs. Organic
Social Media: Improving or ruining human relationships
Transit: What's the future?

Dr. Mitch Prinstein | UNC-Chapel Hill
Hope Hart | Syngenta
Mike Charbonneau | Go Triangle
Dr. Seth Hollar | EcoPRT
Innovation. Education. Industry. These are powerful angles – and what The Research Triangle Park is known for.
At “RTP 180°,” speakers from our three founding universities, local companies and the community at-large are called upon to take the stage to speak passionately about what matters to them. On the third Thursday of every month, come join us and partake of free beer and smarts — the show starts at 6:00pm, but our doors open before if you want to come test the (always local) taps. Afterwards, professionally edited video segments of our speakers will be posted, in case you missed the livestream! To join the conversation on Twitter, use our hashtag: #RTP180
