As 2014 comes to a close, we wanted to celebrate the state we all call home. North Carolina is full of uniquities; some we encounter each day, others we might not even notice. Help us celebrate our final RTP 180 at 12 Davis Drive (don't worry - we're just moving locations!) with an homage to our great state. We’ll have fantastic craft beer from Mother Earth Brewing and bbq from Smithfield's that shows off how tasty we really are.
So, come join us on Thursday, December 18th! The show starts at 6pm, but we open the doors at 5pm for anyone that wants to come over straight from work. We hope to see you then!
The Raleigh Shag Club – This dance is pure NC goodness. While the name might make your grandmother blush, it’s much more wholesome than twerking.
Walt Wolfram, NCSU’s NC Language and Life Project – Do you have an accent? How about your second cousin that lives out in Stokes County? Thought so!
Jamie Katz Court, PineCone – You might have heard this organization, as it’s their mission to share the goodness of NC’s traditional music with the masses.
Travis Quinn, Mother Earth Brewing - This Kinston brewery is doing beer the right way. From their hand painted labels to their Leed Certified brewery in a restored downtown location, attendees can look forward to hearing a story that's pure down home Eastern NC.
