Popup Coffee Shop at The Frontier

The Frontier | 800 Park Offices Drive | RTP, NC 27709 Sep 29 8:30 am - Sep 29 2:30 pm

We couldn't let National Coffee Day go by without a proper celebration! Stop by the Atrium between 8:30am-2:30pm and try out the brews from Bean's Caffe of Durham.

Bean's Caffe is a sweet little pop up shop eager to make your acquaintance. Delicious coffee and tea beverages crafted with love for your enjoyment.

It is operated by Ali Linn and Charity Cootes, formerly of Respite Cafe. Ali began enjoying coffee at the ripe old age of three. Their fondest memories are of waiting for mom to come home, so they could have a coffee break with a freshly baked goodie and catch up on their days. Since then, Ali has held to a dream of owning their own cafe, learning to make the best coffees for the past nine years, and being a three time finalist in the Indy's Best of Durham barista category.

They are lucky to have found someone as great as Charity to be a trusty sidekick and co-conspirator in crafting a welcoming community, great coffee, and adorable antics.

It isn't just about good coffee, it's about the people we share it with.

They proudly serve freshly roasted coffee from Carrboro Coffee Roasters, a local business with a worldwide reach that is committed to community. They are dedicated to building sustainable, direct relationships with coffee farmers and their communities and sharing those relationships back home.

They will be demonstrating the pour over technique, which is freshly ground and brewed coffee, and discussing some of the different factors taken into consideration when brewing the perfect cup. They say that they don't know everything about coffee, but they love to share what knowledge we do have to increase enjoyment and appreciation of coffee.

The demonstrations will be happening at 10am and 1pm, and spots are limited. If you are interested, sign up here
