About the speaker:
Allison McMurray is currently Sr Director, Global Talent Center of Excellence for Red Hat. In this role she is responsible for leading the design and deployment of the strategic programs that ensure Red Hat is acquiring, developing and retaining the talent and capabilities critical to achieving its business goals. Prior to this role, Allison led the Global Talent Acquisition team
responsible for bringing the most passionate and creative people in the technology industry to exciting new job opportunities at Red Hat. During her nearly 10 year tenure Red Hat has grown from 2,000 to over 10,000 employees and she has had the opportunity to lead important talent efforts in support of Cloud, Middleware, Storage and Virtualization emerging technologies. Prior to joining Red Hat, Allison was the Client Relationship Manager for a division of Fidelity Investments managing regional RPO engagements. Allison also spent many years as a sales, retained and contingency search partner supporting major Technology firms in the RTP area. Allison has a degree in International Business and Spanish from the University of Iowa and now lives in Holly Springs, North Carolina with her husband, son and daughter.
