*Update 4/16/18: The Hive Tour is POSTPONED - New date TBA. Heavy rains like the one we had last night can make the bees extra aggressive, protective, and more likely to hunker down in their hives for a while. Registrants will receive a new date when it is determined to be safe to tour the hives!
Did you know The Frontier has a partnership with Bee Downtown? You have probably driven past our hives many times without realizing all of the greatness inside. Some of that greatness was recently turned into drinkable form when our friends at Neuse River Brewing mixed 100lbs of honey produced from our site into some beer! #WorkerBeeWit
Join us April 16 to learn more about our hives, our bees, and bee-keeping in general from the experts at Bee Downtown. We will start out in the Fusion Room and chat over a quick bite to eat. Then, we will get a tour of the hives from our very own Bee Keeper. A light lunch will be provided.
Fine Print: We encourage folks to bring a water bottle for the tour; it may get hot out there! You must wear closed toed shoes & long pants and long shirts are recommended, but not required. We will provide everyone with bee suits and gloves...Safety First!
