Tony, originally from the Washington D.C. area, has built a dynamic professional career over the past decade. In 2016, after dedicating ten years to various roles within the region, he embarked on a transformative journey, hiking 500 miles of the Appalachian Trail before relocating to Raleigh. This pivotal experience led him to further his education at the Cisco Network Academy. Although his initial post-academy career began in IT, Tony’s passion for mechanics soon guided him towards the automotive industry. His adept skills in automotive mechanics paved the way for a significant transition into a role as a Union Operating Engineer. This position offered him extensive experience and knowledge, setting a solid foundation for his current position as Assistant Chief Engineer at The Foundation.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Tony is deeply passionate about his hobbies. He continues to build custom cars, demonstrating his creative and technical abilities. An avid backpacker, Tony finds solace and inspiration in the great outdoors. His interests also extend to the culinary arts and to the realm of vintage electronics and video games, where he applies his technical expertise to repair and restore these items.
