In her role as content marketing manager, Nancy’s combined experiences in both commercial and academic publishing along with her artistic endeavors inform her approach to handling the Foundation’s outreach strategy. Her strengths in relationship building and creative project management keep the marketing team’s multiple initiatives in forward motion.
Nancy’s wide array of interests include exploring the sights, sounds and tastes of the Triangle area (especially at Boxyard!); creating art and drawings; continual learning around anti-racism and Samba-Reggae style drumming. Before she and her cat, Mongo Titus, moved to Durham in 2017, she lived in Brooklyn, NY for 21 years. Nancy graduated with a B.F.A. in illustration from Syracuse University and considers herself a life-long learner.
