DESCRIPTION:The RTP Owners & Tenants Association ( https://www.rtp.org/owners-and-tenants/ ) Sustainability initiative focuses on environmental issues facing RTP companies and employees.\nIn partnership with Kramden Institute, Inc. ( https://kramden.org/e-waste/ ), we are sponsoring a free electronics recycling event to help you protect your personal data and rid yourself of old electronics.\nDrive through the 500 Park Offices Drive parking lot to drop off any electronics you would like to recycle. Please be sure to fill out the Donations Form ( https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf38d0zL-DEbcs44ocUZYeMkr1DaoKDKApxDv7Enbk9_gIMPQ/viewform ) before arriving so that we may provide a contactless experience. Masks are required.\nDonations that meet minimum standards will be used by our partner group, Kramden Institute, Inc., for possible refurbishing and donation to less-advantaged students in North Carolina. The donor may receive a tax donation receipt. Kramden takes data security very seriously and will wipe every\nhard drive that is donated or physically destroy the drives if they cannot be reused.\nIn order to fulfill its mission, Kramden will accept the following items:\n• Desktop computers: any age/make/condition\n• Laptop computers: any age/make/condition\n• LCD monitors: any age/make/condition\n• Peripherals: mice, keyboards, hard drives, RAM, flash drives, power cords, VGA cables, etc.\n• Servers\n• Enterprise networking equipment\n• Tablets: any age/make/condition\n• Cellphones\nDue to the current state of the recycling industry in regard to leaded glass and plastic prices, Kramden is unable to accept the following items:\n• CRT Monitors                                                • Stereo Speakers\n• Televisions of any size/make                      • Household Appliances\n• Printers                                                            • Consumer Electronics\n• Scanners                                                          • Lamps or Bulbs\n• Shredders                                                        • Household Hazardous Waste\n
