2016 was the first year RTP partnered with Moogfest on the inaugural tech, music and arts celebration in downtown Durham, NC. Over four days thousands of attendees had the opportunity to experience a vast arrange of futuristic panels, immersive art exhibits and music on stages big and small. Adults and children alike were able to experience entertainment in a way that has never before enveloped the region. Check out the video above to catch a glimpse of the energy provided by Moogfest, and see all the media buzz generated by RTP’s partnership with the festival. (If you weren’t able to see the Convergence sculpture at the festival, be sure to check it out in its new permanent home at The Frontier!)

Moogfest’s 121 music performances and 155 workshops generated a ton of media and social content. More than 366 stories were published about the festival. Below we’ve included just a few that called out or highlighted Research Triangle Park, the Future Cities Panel and the Convergence sculpture.
