Ahh, fall! What’s not to love? We’re lucky enough to live in a state that actually has seasons, and each year the trees go through a firey transformation. Get out of here with your pumpkin space lattes – I’m here for the leaves. Just look at that photo! It was taken from one of our mountain biking trails located in the southern portion of RTP. If you’re feeling stressed out, go for a relaxing walk. I can’t guarantee your stress won’t meet you upon reentering the office, but it definitely will subside as you crunch along the cool, shaded outdoor paths. Fall is also a busy time of year for all of us that work here at the Foundation. As you can see below, there are a TON of great events going on. Grab your calendar, and get to reading!

These Eisenhower Fellows are working to change different angles of education for students around the world. Don’t miss it!

RTP 180: Creepy Crawly
October 16th, RTP HQ
After this RTP 180, you might wish the things you hear go bump in the night were actually zombies. The real creepy crawlies that inhabit our lands are actually scarier than some fictional beings. From the bugs that live in our homes (you can drop that can of Raid, it doesn’t matter), to drug resistant super strains, there’s a lot to be scared of out in the world…in addition to the supernatural. As a super treat, we’ll have Raleigh’s newest brewery, Nicklepoint, serving up pints.
PS – Show up in costume and with a decorated pumpkin in tow. We’ll have prizes!
