The Research Triangle Foundation has not forgotten that we are an organization created by the people of North Carolina – for the people of North Carolina.
Which is why we recently went back out in to the state.
We wanted to find out what people are concerned about, and discover ways to work together in this difficult economy. It’s not “just” about the RTP -- we want to reconnect, reimagine and redevelop the whole of North Carolina, so we can remain competitive on a global scale.
On Nov. 9, we presented our official “Master Plan,” which discussed specific logistical, sustainability and economic details of our planned redevelopment effort.
And on Nov. 13, we kiss our loved ones goodbye, board a bus, and begin our 3-week “Pathways to Opportunity” bus tour – which will take us all over the great state of North Carolina.
To watch either event (Nov. 9 or Nov. 13) -- tune in over at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/reimaginenc. We broadcasted live, but copies will be available there even after the events are over.

The “Pathways to Opportunity” Bus Tour ReImagines NC
Through this “Pathways to Opportunity” bus tour, we reconnected with towns all over the state in order to root out the very best ideas for our future.
At the kickoff luncheon, on Nov. 13, RTF CEO Bob Geolas, RTF Chairman Bob
Ingram, Governor Bev. Purdue and other RTP leaders were present.
Here is a schedule – and a map -- of planned stops: any modifications will
update dynamically.
