The Research Triangle Regional Partnership annually convenes business and community leaders for the State of the Research Triangle Region event, an in-depth look at the region's economic health and competitive position. More than 800 people attend each year.

The annual forum:

• Provides economic data and analysis on the region's competitive position.
• Examines the dynamic factors shaping the region's economy.
• Briefs the community on the results of the Shape of Things to Come plan, the five-year economic competitiveness strategy designed to ensure a prosperous economic future for all 13 counties in the region.
