UNC-CH professor of history, Heather Williams, will be on hand during a preview screening of the new PBS's documentary, The Abolitionists. The film chronicles the stories of Frederick Douglass, William Lloyd Garrison, Angelina Grimke, Harriet Beecher Stowe, and John Brown and is part of the PBS series American Experience. Professor Williams is an award-winning author, and former Assistant Attorney General for New York state.
