Building

The Research Triangle Park Headquarters

The Research Triangle Park Headquarters opened its doors at
12 Davis Drive in January of 2008. The building was constructed at a strategic time of transition and growth for the Park, representing RTP's significant 50-year history in both design and function. The RTP Headquarters houses the administrative offices of the Research Triangle Foundation of North Carolina as well as the 6,800 square foot Archie K. Davis Conference Center.

Preservation of the environment through sustainable design and building practices was a top priority from concept to completion of the Headquarters, and the design team ensured that sustainability was integral to every aspect of the building. The Research Triangle Park Headquarters was awarded LEED® Silver by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) in September 2008. LEED® was created by the USGBC and is the leading rating system for sustainable green buildings.
