Why wiki?

Wiki : a website that allows the visitors themselves to easily add, remove, and otherwise edit and change available content. This ease of interaction makes a wiki an effective tool for mass collaborative authoring.  Wikipedia is probably one of the more well known examples of a wiki.

To encourage dialogue and collaboration among the members of The Research Triangle Park (RTP) community, wikiRTP has been developed to provide a forum for things related to RTP.

In addition to getting information about various groups in and around RTP, wikiRTP has information about upcoming events and the RTP softball league.
