The Research Triangle region is home to some of the most educated and talented people in the world, with 53 percent of the Raleigh-Durham-Cary Combined Statistical Area population holding a bachelor’s degree or higher. Stimulated by the 10 colleges and universities in the area, these knowledge assets provide a steady supply of trained scientists, engineers, managers, and technicians to the region’s workforce, graduating more than 15,000 students each year.
