Topic: STEM in The Triangle
Science, Technology, Engineering and Math: Four words that make up a term that has become the buzzword associated with education over the past few years. Everyone knows today's students need an education that's rich in STEM, but how is our community going about making that change a reality? At this month's RTP 180, you'll hear from speakers that are in the trenches and actively working to impact today's young minds through a variety of different community programs and initiatives.
The show starts at 6pm, but the doors open early for those that would like to grab a local brew before the speakers begin. See you then!
This event has ended, but you can view a recording of the livestream, below:
- Meaghan McGrath | Environmental Engineer at RTI and US2020 Mentor

About RTP 180:
Innovation. Education. Industry. These are powerful angles – and what the Research Triangle Park is known for. At “RTP 180°,” speakers from our three founding universities, local companies and the community at-large are called upon to take the stage to speak passionately about what matters to them. The show kicks off at 6pm, but our doors are open beforehand for anyone that would like to come early.
The hashtag for this event is #RTP180 and we always livestream from our YouTube channel over at www.youtube.com/TheRTPNC. Afterwards, professionally edited video segments of our speakers will be posted, in case you missed the livestream!
Tickets are free and all 300 seats are usually claimed, so register early!
